What to do in Mochima
The dolphin tour:
Scenic sunset boat excursions; Snorkeling and swimming to the islands for the day; Rafting on the Neveri River for the day on a traditional raft; Bicycling tour up the Turimiquire Valley; Trip to Guacharo Caves for the day; Cruise on 37 ft motor yacht for the day or extended live-aboard trips for the week.
Full day.
Day trips on the yacht: Cruise the local coast and islands of Mochima National Park (min. 4 persons). Includes lunch and drinks. Snorkeling equipment is available on board, scuba diving is optional.
Yacht Charter.
5 – 7 days yacht charter: Live-aboard and cruise the Southern Caribbean waters (min. 4 persons). Explore the South American Coast and many tropical Caribbean Islands. Design your own week-long adventure discovering the hidden secrets of the new world.
Diving.
Including new diving equipment, air compressor and a 32-ft. fiberglass boat. Dive trips include two tank dives, soft drinks and snacks. Diving and snorkeling instruction is available. Equipment is available for scuba and snorkeling rental. Please ask for quotes on Padi dive certificates.
Dive Sites:
The steam ship El Vapor, a submerged DC-3, the cave of Guaigua, or an underwater geo thermal Las Burbujas. Bajo de Las Caracas is one of many fascinating submerged underwater plateaus to discover in the National Marine Park of Mochima.
