How to get to Mochima
Mochima is a Beautiful National Park in Venezuela’s Northeastern states of Anzoategui and Sucre. It consists of corral reefs, tropical mangroves, littoral grassland, tropical dry forests, wet montane forests and cloud forests. There are three options travelers have in accessing Mochima from the Caracas International Airport. We can arrange the flights for you and provide a guided transfer at each stop. The options are as follows:
Option 1: Caracas> Cumana > Mochima
B Once in Cumana, take private transportation to the destination site
Pros: This option is very affordable for traveling.
Cons: For some travelers, extended periods of time on a bus can cause discomfort, more so when traveling through the mountains.
Option 2: Caracas> Cumana > Mochima (Via Air- Travel)
Travelers also have the option of taking flights from Caracas to Cumana
A: Flight from Caracas (CCS) to Cumana (CUM)
• Flight times range from 07:50-08:45**13:00-13:45**15:00-15:55**17:45-18:40
B: Once in Cumana, take private transportation to the destination site
Pros: This option allows travelers to access their destination in shorter period of time
Cons: This option is more expensive for traveling, however is still relatively inexpensive for a domestic flight.
A: Take a private transfer from Caracas International Airport straight to Mochima
B: Transport throughout the day until approximately 9:00 in the evening.
Pros: This is the easiest and most convenient way for traveling from Caracas to Mochima and back.
